Delighted to share that Zitong Yu, PhD student in our lab, received 2023 Bradley-Alavi Student Fellowship of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), based on his proposal on developing a deep learning-based transmission-less attenuation compensation method! This proposal continues Zitong’s exciting work in this space. His prior work on developing this method received the first paper award in the in the Physics of Medical Imaging Student Paper Award and was a finalist for the Robert F. Wagner award at SPIE Medical Imaging meeting.
Congratulations Zitong!
The award is made possible by the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (ERF) of the SNMMI. Thanks to SNMMI for this support of this work!
