Overview: This software performs reconstruction of fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) based on sparsity-initialized maximum-likelihood expectation maximization (MLEM) algorithm.

Description:

The software performs a three-step procedure for FMT reconstruction. In the first step, singular-value decomposition (SVD) is applied on system sensitivity matrix. A sparse recovery algorithm (FISTA algorithm) is then performed to obtain an initial estimate. Finally, the result from sparse recovery algorithm is input as initial guess in MLEM for further noise modeling.
