Publication on an in silico imaging trial for quantitative SPECT

We are thrilled to share that our article on an silico imaging trial to validate a low-count quantitative SPECT method for alpha-particle radiopharmaceutical therapies has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine! The trial is titled In Silico Imaging Trial for Quantitation Accuracy (ISIT-QA). Link to article here.

Congratulations to all collaborators! Special congrats to Zekun for another first-author journal article from his PhD work, where he is continuing to advance on the idea of projection-domain quantitative SPECT for alpha-particle therapies. His earlier work where he had developed and validated this method for a single-scanner setting was published in IEEE TRPMS (link). The encouraging results from that study motivated evaluating both the accuracy and the reproducibility of the method in a multi-scanner setting. We are excited to report that the method is very reliable and reproducible across nine different scanner-collimator configurations! We look forward to moving forward on this method!
